What the app does with AI

ReadyQuote uses artificial intelligence to draft quotes. When you tap "Create quote", the photos, voice recording and/or text you provide, together with your company settings (such as trade, hourly rate, price list, currency and tax), are sent to our server and then to Google's Gemini API to produce a draft.

• The AI output is a draft. It can contain mistakes. You review, edit and approve every quote before it is shared.
• Photos and recordings are deleted from our server as soon as the draft is created. We use the paid Gemini API, under which Google does not use your content to train its models.
• Avoid including sensitive personal information in photos or recordings.

Microphone and photos

ReadyQuote asks for microphone access only so you can describe a job by voice, and camera/photo access only so you can add pictures of the job. Recording starts only when you tap the record button and never runs in the background. Audio and photos are sent to AI (Google Gemini) solely to generate your quote draft and are not used for advertising or tracking.

Data stored on your phone

Company details, prices, terms, logo and your quotes are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app or using "Delete all data" removes them.

Customer links

If you send a quote by link, the quote (including the customer name and contact details you entered) is stored on our server so your customer can view, accept, decline or ask questions. Links stay active until you delete them or your account data is deleted. You can delete a shared quote at any time in "My quotes".

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We do not receive your card details. We receive a confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.

Processors

• Google (Gemini API): AI drafting.
• Cloudflare: hosting, server processing and storage of shared quote links.
• Apple: App Store and subscriptions.

Legal basis and your rights

We process data to provide the service you request (contract). Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing. Contact us and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

ReadyQuote is a business tool and not intended for children under 16.

We will update this page if the way we handle data changes.
